Lavender Grilled Pork Tenderloin with Mustard Dill Sauce
This meal comes together in a snap. You mix together a quick tangy sauce, fire up the grill, and you are good to go. Easy, flavorful dishes are my jam.

Ingredients:
16 ounces pork tenderloin
1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
3 tablespoons freshly chopped dill
1 1/2 tablespoons lavender honey
1/4 cup dijon mustard
1 tsp water
1 tsp lavender salt
1 tsp fresh ground pepper

Heat your grill to 350 degrees. While that warms up whisk your sauce together and set aside. Sprinkle your pork lightly with salt and pepper. Grill until charred on each side and cooked through to 150 degrees, about 10-12 minutes per side. Remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes. Cut into slices and drizzle your sauce over the top.

You will love the tangy mustardy bite to this sauce and how much of a no brainer meal this is to throw together. Happy eating!

Lavender Salt
I kind of have an obsession with lavender salt these days. Its just upped the anti for me in my culinary game. Seriously. If you haven't tried this magic stuff, you've gotta go for it. Basically any dish you make and season with regular salt, can actually be enhanced in flavor by lavender salt. Its my little secret weapon that gives all of my dishes that extra little oomph.

Ways to cook with lavender salt: making ice-cream, seasoning potatoes, homemade chocolate, seasoning proteins (lamb especially), salad seasoning, on fresh fruit or vegetables, the options really are pretty limitless.

The other day I made one of my go to meals and it just wasn't as good as it normally is. I was wondering what my issue was when I suddenly realized I had just used regular old kosher salt rather than my lavender salt! What a huge different one tiny tweak made!

Well I could go on and on. If you're interested in trying your own lavender salt, you can grab some here. http://www.lavenderapple.com/culinaryproducts.php?products_d_exhibit=3

Enjoy! Let us know how it goes!
How to use Lavender Salt
We make a delicious Lavender Salt here on the farm. It's something most people have never seen or thought to use. Lavender Salt actually has many diverse uses. It makes a fragrant rub for lamb or chicken. It adds an unusual and subtle flavor to freshly cooked vegetables. Sprinkle a little lavender salt on any type of fish filet with a little olive oil and garlic and you have a great meal on your hands!

The salt we use in our Lavender sea salt is from the coast of Brittany in France. it is harvested and sifted using the same traditional celtic methods of long ago. This sea salt is world renowned for it’s superior flavor and quality. We take this salt and infuse our organic Lavender into it and make it even better. We use this salt on everything!

It's so beautiful and unique that it makes a wonderful gift for any friends or family who love to cook as well. Sometimes your every day ordinary recipes just need a little tweak to take them to the next level. Well Lavender Salt can do just that. Everyone at dinner will be wondering what that little extra something is, and only you will and I will know. Its our little culinary secret.

Moroccan Lavender Kebabs
Another fun lavender dish for you to try today! One of my favorite ways to grill has got to be kebabs. All the extra surface area on the meat leads to these wonderful little crisp bits that just enhance the lavender flavor so much. Your guests will happily wonder what hit them in the tastebuds. This recipe is for Moroccan Lavender Kebabs, you will love it.

Meat Marinade:
1 TBS Lavender
1/4 TSP Salt
Juice from 1 Lemon
1/4 Cup Olive Oil
1 1/2 Lbs Beef or Lamb cut into uniform cubes

Crush your lavender, lemon, and salt in a mortar and pestle until a paste is formed. Add your olive oil. Add your meat and put in a ziplock bag and marinate at room temperature for 1 hour. Skewer your meat. (If using wood skewers, make sure you soak them in water while your meat is marinating.) Grill over high heat until done to your liking.

Simple, but unique. It doesn't take much to elevate a dish. Buy your own culinary lavender or lavender salt HERE
